This was a great year for 16-year old Laurie Hernandez. It is amazing that we have someone so young on this team. Aly Raisman, a veteran on the team, never ceases to amaze us with her performances. And the small giant, Simone Biles proves to us that her height will never hold her back. Each of the five girls on this team are so different and they all have their own personalities and specialties. This gives them a wide appeal. A lot of girls can look up to them because they all provide a different perspective for personal success.

3. They bring home the gold.

We love to win. Honestly, who doesn't? So when our gymnastics team brought home the gold in London we were already hooked. Now, they've brought us home gold in Rio. We love our country and anytime someone can represent it well, we'll appreciate them. We love that our team can bring home a win and show the world what American's are capable of.

4. They make perfect team.

A team doesn't always have a perfect balance. Sometimes we love everyone on the team and sometimes there's someone we just don't agree with. The final five make a perfect team. They all have talent and they all have proved that they deserve the attention. They also work together and support each other through everything. A perfect team creates this perfect combination of skill and encouragement to win big. And that's exactly what this team does.

5. They are real people, just like us.

Behind the scenes, each one of these girls have normal emotions and experiences. We all get excited for big moments in our lives. Laurie Hernandez shared and adorable selfie with her brother, who later posted it on Instagram. It's things like this that remind us these girls are still normal people. We love being able to share these moments with them and to see that they share the same basic human emotions that we all have.

Our women's olympic gymnasts bring a lot of pride and joy to our country. They represent the American dream well by being real people who worked hard to get where they are now. They are powerful role models that we can all look up to. With their courage and talent, they inspire us to work hard and go after our dreams. Nothing can stop these five girls. We love them and we're proud to have them represent our great nation.
