"101" Ways to Combat Stress


I have been incredibly stressed the past two months. I went back to school for my senior year and my heavy involvement has caused a lot of long days and even longer nights. Between classwork, outside projects, and sorority events there just doesn't seem to be enough time in my day. It's hard to juggle a personal life and a professional life.

Since we all deal with stress, I thought I'd share 101 ways to combat stress or to relax yourself. It's important to take care of yourself and to detox from all of the emotions building up from stress. Do the things you enjoy doing or the things that relax you to keep your stress level down and to enjoy your life again.

1. Drink warm tea.

2. Play with some puppies.

3. Watch an episode of your favorite show.

4. Take a hot bath.

5. Bake cookies.

6. Get a massage.

7. Count to 10.

8. Read a book.

9. Talk a walk.

10. Paint a new canvas for your wall.

11. Think about one of your favorite days.

12. Go shopping.

13. Listen to your favorite music.

14. Take a nap.

15. Drink a cocktail.

16. Get someone to hug you.
